Governor Dorothy Montejo-Gonzaga extended congratulations and expressed gratitude to all the Davao de Oro youth winners of the recently concluded 4-H Regional Youth Camp on April 3-5, 2024 at ATI-RXI Center, Panabo City, where DdO 4H Club emerged as the Overall Champion.
She likewise commended the program of the Provincial Agriculturist’s Office (PAGRO) which honed the talents of DdO youths in the field of agriculture.
“Daghang Salamat sa pagdugang og garbo sa probinsya pinaagi sa programa sa atoang PAGRO, thank you sa inyuha labi nagyud sa mga nanaog. Ang 4H, as you would know, mao na ang paggamit , sa pag-ignite, pag-love sa agriculture pero atong gigamit nga mga components ang head, heart, health ug ang hands. In short magamit nimo ni tanan og maayu, put into agriculture, any activity for that matter, you will reap what you sow” said Governor Gonzaga.
Meanwhile, Davao region representatives Mr. Cyl Vincent V. Perez of New Bataan and Mr. Nelmar L. Sosas of Maco, both from Davao de Oro, were also recognized as among the successful 23 trainees of the 11-month Internship training in Japan. Out of 23 business proposals submitted, Mr. Sosas has ranked 1st for the Outstanding Agribusiness Proposal with his Enterprise “Mr. N Aquaculture” representing Region XI and receiving 150,000.00 pesos financial grant as start-up capital.
Further, 4H Club Davao de Oro Winners are said to represent the Davao region for the national level competition, which will be held at Siargao Island this year.
