The event was spearheaded by Governor Dorothy “Dotdot” M. Gonzaga, Second District Representative Ruwel Peter Gonzaga, Maco Mayor Arthur Carlos Voltaire R. Rimando, the Philippine Army, Philippine National Police, and other officials and stakeholders.
The successful implementation of the project also highlighted the invaluable contributions of various private agencies and sectors that worked hand-in-hand to materialize this effort. Governor Gonzaga expressed her immense joy for the beneficiaries, saying, “A home is of great importance, which is why I am delighted to see your trust and support for the government.” She also extended her gratitude to all the agencies, both local and national, involved in the project.
Congressman Ruwel Peter Gonzaga also conveyed his gratitude for being a vital part of constructing these permanent housing units. “I am happy to be part of this government, part of the private stakeholders, part of the government employees, and part of Governor Dotdot’s efforts to provide you with homes. You are a testament to the government’s dedication to serving its people.”, he remarked.
The turnover of these homes showcased the province’s unwavering efforts to ensure the well-being of its residents and to strengthen the spirit of unity amidst challenges.
