Bulawan Run Marks Davao de Oro’s Stride Towards Kalamboan

More than 2,000 participants from across Davao de Oro, as well as neighboring cities and provinces, joined this year’s Bulawan Run, March 1, 2026, taking part in a collective stride towards progress.

Beyond a test of speed and endurance, the Bulawan Run symbolized the province’s shared journey toward a future shaped by resilience, community spirit, and a strong determination to move forward together.

Governor Raul Mabanglo emphasized that while the event carries a competitive element, participants were encouraged to focus on enjoying the experience and running with purpose — promoting health, wellness, and meaningful participation.

The activity also served as the official kickoff for the 19th Bulawan Festival and the 28th Founding Anniversary of Davao de Oro that highlight the province’s rich culture and its people.
