On November 20, 2019 a Special Recruitment Program-Jobs Fair will be conducted as well as the Reformed Voluntary Surrenderers (RVS) Day. A Drug Symposium among Grade School Students and Out of School Youths on Understanding the concept of Drug Addiction (Municipality of Nabunturan) will be held the day after.
“Time will come that we can declare Compostela Valley as a drug-free province, but before the Governor can do that of course we have to go back first to the community, we have to go back to the barangays and to the municipalities,” said Mario Angelo Sotto.
“We cannot have a drug-free province if a family, a barangay and a municipality cannot declare that they are free from drugs,” he added.
The Provincial Government of Comval fights to free the whole province from drugs thru their programs such as the Oplan Liwanag. These actions will lead to a good welcome for the upcoming Davao de Oro. (Jasteen P. Abella, ID COMVAL)
