ComVal garners awards from the “3rd Biennial Population Congress”
Compostela Valley Province–– Comval Province garners a total of 5 awards during the newly commenced “3rd Biennial Population Congress” spearheaded by the National Population Commission at the Royal Mandaya Hotel in Davao City, November 6, 2019 attended by various population officers coming from different provinces and cities within Davao Region.
The awards were given by the PopCom Region XI Dir. Bai Agnes Sampulna and PopCom Assistant Region XI Dir. Ma. Linadores M. Delicana. With Compostela Valley Province’s Excellent Performance in their Population Program Implementation by Governor Jayvee Tyron Uy together with SP Members headed by Vice Governor Maricar Zamora and Senior Board Member Arturo “Chiongkee” Uy, the province was able to romp as the “Outstanding Local Population Office in the Implementation of Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning Program (RPFP)” and “Outstanding Adolescent Health Information in the Entire Province for CY 2017-2018.”
Comval Province also garnered “Commendation for Having the Most Number of Adolescent Friendly Health Facilities in the Entire Province”, “Recognition for Continued Implementation of a Localized Population Program”, “Commendation for the Implementation of the Adolescent Health and Development Program by Establishing the Adolescent Friendly Health Facilities (Teen Centers).
Representatives from the Provincial Health Office of Comval Province Population Officer Analyn Vigilia, Mary Grace Reymundo and Kristine Delante received the awards from the Population Commission that day. (Jasteen P. Abella, ID COMVAL)
