In line with the celebration of MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) Week, the Davao de Oro NeGOLDsyo 2025 was officially launched today, featuring various activities prepared for our local entrepreneurs in the province.
This initiative is supported by Governor Raul G. Mabanglo, who believes that strengthening the MSME sector is one of the keys to driving economic growth in the province.
In a message delivered by Executive Assistant III Ma. Janice Boiser, Governor Mabanglo expressed his full support:
“Recognizing the vital role of our MSMEs reflects our commitment to inclusivity, but creating programs to boost growth in this sector demonstrates our dedication to true development – KALAMBOAN.”
In partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry, the Gold Negosyo Credit Fair was held today at the Capitol Lobby — a one-stop shop composed of banks, cooperatives, and other financing partners for MSMEs.
This activity aims to help entrepreneurs better understand how to expand and improve their businesses through Financial Literacy Sessions on E-Payments, the Anti-Financial Scamming Law, and the BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) Gold Buying Program.
Various banks, cooperatives, and financial agencies also showcased their respective products, including loan offerings, equipment support, and digital services that local entrepreneurs can take advantage of.
