VISION
By 2040, the PAO-Investment Division envisions the Province of Davao de Oro as leading agri-investment destination in Mindanao with a vibrant local economy and sustainable growth for all Dabawenyos.
MISSION
The PAO-Investment Division aims to accelerate the economic development in the Province of Davao de Oro through investment promotions and business development programs and to effectively utilize local resources in order to ensure a business-friendly climate with respect to the environment and for the improvement of the quality of life of its people.
MANDATE
The PAO-Investment Division was created by virtue of Provincial Ordinance No. 86-2021. It is mandated to initiate investment promotion and business development programs and institutionalize these programs in the Province of Davao de Oro. The creation is in accordance to national issuances, such as what’s stipulated in the DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2020-167 and the Local Government Code of 1991 Title VI, Sec. 109; Title I, Sec. 17, subsection 3 (ii); and Title I, Sec. 17, subsection 3 (ix).
