As provided in Section 17 of the Local Government Code of 199, Social Welfare Services include but not limited to programs and projects on child and youth welfare, women’s welfare, welfare of the elderly and disabled persons, juvenile delinquents and victims of drug abuse; livelihood and other pro – poor projects, and family       development services. Social Welfare Services also includes programs on rebel returnees, internally displaced persons, relief operation.
