As part of the province’s commitment to provide access to quality education for its youth, the Provincial Government successfully conducted its Davao de Oro Scholarship Program (DDOSP) Orientation and Contract Signing for the year 2023.
Spearheaded by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office – Youth Development Division (PSWDO-YDD) under the visionary leadership of Governor Dorothy Montejo-Gonzaga, this event spanned across seven (7) different locations in the province.
Yesterday, September 14, eligible scholars from Maco, Mabini, and Pantukan towns attended the orientation and formally signed the contract as one of the recipients of DDOSP.
The series of events held from September 12 to 15 of this year, provided all eligible scholars in the province and their parents with insights into the program’s benefits, requirements, and expectations, symbolizing the formal commitment between them and the provincial government.
As the newly minted scholars embark on their educational journeys, the provincial government stands united in its commitment to guide and support them every step of the way.
Further, investing in the youth of today has always been a priority under Governor Gonzaga’s leadership. With her development agenda in mind, the youth now have the opportunity to fulfill their dreams and become the amplifiers of change, progress, and development for the years to come. (Jaynus Fernandez)
