L’yurot Festival of Golden Valley
lies in the highlands of the municipality of Mabini, province of Compostela Valley. Some 85-90 percent of its population of almost 5,000 belongs to the native Mansaka tribe. It is accessible by way of a one-and-a-half hour ride from Nabunturan, the Capital town of the province through the Municipality of Mawab. Golden Valley is 23 kms from Tagum City in Davao del Norte.
The Festival is held every November 22.
