UNANG LAKANG | On Governor Raul Mabanglo’s first day of rounds at the Provincial Capitol today, he visited the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) headed by Department Head Engr. Roderick Digamon, where they discussed initial projects and plans for development.
The Governor also inspected various areas within the Provincial Capitol compound.
The initial steps identified include:
✅ Establishment of three (3) Sub-Engineering Offices These will be strategically located along the Laak–Montevista Line, Mawab–Maragusan–Masara Line, and the coastal area of Maco–Mabini–Pantukan. These offices aim to ensure quick emergency response, especially in landslide-prone areas.
✅ Improvement of the Capitol’s parking area, planned to be established near the basketball court ✅ Enhancement of the Freedom Stage ✅ Construction of a rotunda at the Capitol to ease traffic congestion ✅ Relocation of the Flag Pole to the front of the Capitol Building, along with the installation of a new water system
These are just the first steps toward progress—taken in partnership with the people of Davao de Oro 💪
