NABUNTURAN, Davao de Oro – In a bid to further strengthen coordination and partnerships for peace, order, public safety, economic growth, social welfare, and disaster resilience, Governor Engr. Raul G. Mabanglo welcomed a series of courtesy visits from various government agencies, local government officials, and community leaders at the Provincial Capitol on August 6–7.
Among the agencies that paid a visit were personnel from the BJMP Regional and District Office, PNP Regional and Provincial Internal Affairs, and LTO Davao de Oro, reaffirming their full support for the Governor’s administration, particularly in enforcing programs that uphold peace, safety, and public order across the province.


Governor Mabanglo also received the Project Leader and staff from UP Mindanao, Ateneo de Davao University, and University of San Carlos, who presented the Integrated Water Resources Management Framework. The project recommends strategic measures to mitigate the impact of flooding in Davao de Oro, contributing to the province’s climate resilience efforts.

In a separate meeting, LGU Monkayo officials led by Mayor Manuel JayR Zamora, together with members of the Sangguniang Bayan, discussed priority development projects with the Governor. These include initiatives to enhance tourism, water systems, road concreting, and increased support for education, health, and livelihood programs in the municipality.


The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Provincial Office likewise expressed their intent to sustain inter-agency collaboration to boost local businesses, promote homegrown products, and foster economic development.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao de Oro also reaffirmed its partnership with the Provincial Government in delivering vital statistical and civil registration services to the public.

Provincial IPMR President Board Member Albert Camana led a delegation of IP leaders from Maco and Laak to show their strong support for Governor Mabanglo’s leadership, underscoring unity in pursuing inclusive growth for indigenous communities.


Health services were likewise highlighted as officials from the Department of Health (DOH) Region XI visited to discuss the upgrading and rehabilitation of all Davao de Oro Provincial Hospitals (DDOPH). The collaboration aims to improve the quality of medical services, especially in far-flung and underserved areas.

In support of spiritual and moral development, pastors from various churches in the province met with the Governor to sustain the Moral Recovery Program (MRP) and the Council of Men, which will be expanded through holistic initiatives that strengthen character, faith, and compassion.


Governor Mabanglo, together with Congresswoman Maricar Zamora-Mabanglo, also responded positively to the requests of Barangay Tubo-Tubo, Monkayo officials led by Kapitan Analyn Enungan. Commitments were made to renovate the barangay gym, construct a two-storey, six-classroom school building, and address other community needs such as solar streetlights, a new barangay hall, and additional school support.


These back-to-back courtesy visits reflect the strong collaboration of various agencies, LGUs, community leaders, and organizations under the leadership of Governor Mabanglo, reinforcing the provincial government’s vision of a safer, more progressive, and more inclusive Davao de Oro.
