NABUNTURAN, DAVAO DE ORO โ Ushering in a new chapter of leadership for the province, newly-elected Governor Raul G. Mabanglo formally took his oath as the new provincial chief executive of Davao de Oro.
Held at the Provincial Capitol Complex on June 29, the Inauguration and Oath-taking ceremony witnessed the official assumption of 1st District Representative Maria Carmen Zamora-Mabanglo, and 2nd District Representative Leonel D. Ceniza.
In his speech, Governor Mabanglo reflected on his journey from a provincial engineer to a new leader of the province, vowing to take the path of service with conviction.
โSeryoso ako sa akong mandato nga alagaran ang katawhan… seryoso ako mutrabaho para sa pagpalambo sa atong probinsya!โ the governor declared in his inaugural address.

Governor Mabanglo emphasized the importance of a shared vision and introduced the administrationโs core values: the Culture of Excellence, Efficiency, Accountability, Synergy, and Participation.
On the other hand, Congresswoman Maria Carmen Zamora-Mabanglo urged all newly-elected officials for collaboration to ensure a unified direction in delivering quality public service and achieving the provinceโs developmental goals.
โI am not calling for unity, kung maghisgot kita og panaghiusa, ang mga leader ug mga opisyal, ang mga politiko lamang ang nagahisgot, but instead, allow me to call for collaboration, because regardless of color, regardless of our political beliefs, and regardless of our political stand, I always believe that once we collaborate, we can always agree on one thing, to collaborate and serve Davao de Oro,โ Congresswoman added.
Meanwhile, Congressman Leonel D. Ceniza boldly stated in his speech that, โDili layo ang kalamboan tungod napatung-an ni Cong. Maricar ug Cong. Jhong ang Gobernador,โ implying that the province is toward the right direction, with strong leadership and a foundation of trust rooted in their shared vision for Davao de Oro.
Carrying the banner of โLambo Davao de Oroโ, the new administration sets its sights on a future anchored on public trust and participation.
Completing the list of newly-elected officials are Vice Governor Dorothy P. Montejo-Gonzaga and the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan: 1st District Board Members Kol Herv Apsay, Joel D. Basaรฑes II, Atty. Kimberly Benazir May R. Codilla, Joanna Aileen Gentugaya, and Ramil Gentugaya, as well as 2nd District Board Members Conie B. Caballero, Ruwina S. Gonzaga, Macario T.
