The Provincial Government of Davao de Oro, in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and private sector employers, opened various job opportunities for the people of the province through the World Café of Opportunities held today at Assumption College of Nabunturan.

The activity formed part of the National Tech-Voc Month celebration, providing a platform for job seekers, especially technical-vocational graduates, to connect directly with hiring companies. Based on TESDA’s report, 16 applicants were hired on the spot by participating employers during the event.
Governor Raul Mabanglo lauded the successful conduct of the activity, underscoring its significance in strengthening government and private sector collaboration for employment generation.
“When we work together, we can serve better, kay kung magkahiusa ta, mas dali ug mas hapsay nato mahatag ang serbisyo nga angayan gyud para sa katawhan sa Davao de Oro,”

“When we work together, we can serve better. Unity allows us to deliver services more efficiently and effectively for the people of Davao de Oro,” the governor said.


A total of 610 applicants took part in the one-day activity, reflecting the province’s commitment to creating more opportunities that empower its workforce and strengthen local economic growth.
