Maduolan Center Launched as Gateway to Accessible Medical Aid in Davao de Oro

KAPITOLYONG MADUOLAN | The first step toward the province’s development officially began today with the opening of the Maduolan Center, located at the Ground Floor of the Capitol Building in Nabunturan, Davao de Oro.

In his message, Governor Raul Mabanglo said, “kini nga Maduolan Center, mao ni ang among commitment, mag establish ta every hospitals, ang katong upat ka mga hospitals nato atong butangan og maduolan center para didtua pangayuon ang atong mga hinabang sa mga nanginahanglan. Sila ang atong hatagan og saktong pagpanerbisyo, sa among pagpangampanya, kini commitment namo para sa kaayuhan sa mga katawhan sa Davao de Oro”.

(“This Maduolan Center is our commitment. We aim to establish a center in each of our four provincial hospitals where our constituents can directly seek assistance. These are the people we want to serve properly. During our campaign, this was one of our promises—for the welfare of the people of Davao de Oro.”)

Strong support also came from Congresswoman Maricar Zamora-Mabanglo and Congressman Jhong Ceniza, whose efforts have made it possible for the Provincial Government to receive funds from the national government within this month for the Medical Assistance to Indigent and Financially Incapacitated Patients (MAIFIP) program in provincial hospitals. These funds will help cover medical bills of the residents and amount to:

✅ ₱50 million each for Davao de Oro Provincial Hospital (DDOPH) Montevista and Pantukan
✅ ₱30 million each for DDOPH Laak and Maragusan
