Miss Earth Philippines 2019 visits ComVal Province
Compostela Valley Province— Miss Earth Philippines 2019, Janelle Lazo Tee visits Compostela Valley on August 19, 2019.
The newly crowned Miss Earth Philippines’ advocacy is to promote eco-tourism that would lead to “inclusive growth in each and every community” in the Philippines. Personally chosen by her, Compostela Valley was her destination to shoot in the Province’s tourist destinations to promote her advocacy.
The Lubi area at Mabini Comval Province is one of her spot. There she planted mangrove and promoted the cleanliness of the area specially the clear waters and the system of garbage collection. The New Bataan Tower of Hope also known as “Andap ng Liwanag Tower” was also visited by the Beauty Queen.
The famous “Bibingka” delicacy in New Sibonga, Nabunturan Comval Province was also visited by the Beauty Queen and figured the process herself on how the delights were made. Tourism Officer, Precila A. Decena and Zenith Maceda of the Council of Women accompanied the team of Miss Earth Philippines 2019 around Compostela Valley.
