Patients rejoice over New Comfortable Beds in Provincial Hospitals

Patients and their families at the Davao de Oro Provincial Hospitals in Maragusan, Laak, and Pantukan, Montevista expressed heartfelt gratitude for the arrival of new bed foams that will provide them with more comfort during their stay.

Through the initiative of Gov. Engr. Raul G. Mabanglo, over 450 bed foams are donated by House Speaker Martin Romualdez and Tingog Partylist Representative Yedda Marie Romualdez and were distributed to the four provincial hospitals in the province.

At DDOPH–Maragusan, one patient shared, (“Lipay kaayo mi kay komportabli na ang among paghigda.”) “We are very happy because our beds are now comfortable.”

‎According to Chief of Hospital Dr. Neil Estoya, it is difficult for the hospital to procure new foams due to budget limitations, making this donation a significant boost to their service delivery.

At DDOPH–Laak, patient’s mother Ella Marie Ontoy compared the new foam to the old one, saying it is (“Komportable kaayo ug limpyo,”) “much more comfortable and clean.”

‎Chief of Hospital Dr. Jose Martin D. Briones expressed his thanks to Gov. Mabanglo for the quick initiatives to address the hospitals’ urgent needs.

At DDOPH–Pantukan, a new mother happily shared, (“Salamat kay komportable na mi mo higda sa akuang anak… dili na gahi.”)

‎“Thank you because my baby and I now have a comfortable bed… it’s no longer hard.”

OIC Chief of Hospital Jose Mychel Sebumpan conveyed his appreciation to Gov. Mabanglo and Cong. Jhong Ceniza for their continued efforts to improve patient conditions.

The Provincial Government of Davao de Oro, through the leadership of Gov. Mabanglo, remains committed to implementing initiatives that will enhance the comfort and overall patient experience in the province’s hospitals.
