PLGU builds new school in Danawan, Manurigao
ComVal- With the ardent support of the Provincial Government of Compostela Valley, the selfless service of the leaders, the generosity of the partners & stakeholders and the collective efforts of the volunteers, the new Digaynon Integrated School in Danawan, Manurigao was finally built through the Bayanihan sa Paaralan Program of the Province.
Governor Jayvee Tyron L. Uy, Vice Governor Maria Carmen S. Zamora, Board Member Raul C. Timogtimog, Board Member Albert P. Camana and Mayor Geraldford N. Balbin personally visited the area to officially turn-over and led the blessing of the one-unit, two-classroom school building, teacher’s cottage and Kusina ng Kalinga Kitchen last October 13, 2019, Sunday in the farthest Sitio in New Bataan—Danawan Manurigao.
“Atong sigurohon nga ang atong mga kabatan-onan makadawat ug maayong kalidad sa edukasyon para hayag ang ilang kaugmaon, Governor Tyron said.
The students of Digayanon Integrated School excitedly participated in the first flag ceremony wearing their school uniforms. They also received school bags, school supplies and burgers from the team.
“Luyo sa tanang pagsulay ug sakripisyo sulod sa 15 ka-adlaw napatugod ra gyud namo ang Digaynon Integrated School diri sa Danawan. Dako among pasalamat sa tanang nibubo sa ilang tabang ug suporta aron mahimo ning posible tanan,” VG Maricar said.
MGen. Jose C. Faustino,Jr. Commander 10ID, BGen. Manuel V.Sequitin, 701st Brigade Commander LT.Col. Roman C. Mabborang, and Dr.Ruben J. Reponte of DepEd were also present to show their support.
The turnover of schools last week at Sitio Side 4 in Mangayon & Panansalan in Compostela, Pagsabangan in New Bataan and Sapanglubog, Tibagon in Pantukan were also successful.
