Davao de Oro recently recognized Seventy-seven (77) employees of the Provincial Government during the Awards Rites for Loyalty Awardees in celebration of Civil Service Month spearheaded by the Provincial Human Resource Management and Development Office headed by PG-Head Lara Zaphire Kristy N. Bermejo.
Each employee was given their respective awards for their loyalty to serving the people of Davao de Oro. Forty-seven (47) employees received their plaques of recognition and a monetary incentive for being a performing employee in Davao de Oro for 15 years. Six (6) employees also received the same award for rendering 20 years of government service, three (3) employees with twenty-five (25) years in service, eighteen (18) employees with thirty (30) years in service, and three (3) employees with thirty-five (35) years in service.
Governor Dorothy Montejo Gonzaga gave a message during the event and encouraged the awardees to keep going with faith and love for their service, thus proving to the people that government works. The governor also conveyed that a secret to being happy at work and lasting in a working environment is to love the job.
The body also recognized the E-Gov Technical Team headed by PICTO Head Joyzel Odi at the same event, who recently bagged an award from the Civil Service Commission 2022 Search for Outstanding Government Workers as a Regional Pag-Asa Awardee Group Category. The team was responsible for their exceptional contributions to the province’s digital governance, dubbed “eGovernance,” which provides innovative digital systems for smooth and transparent government service.
A Gantimpala Agad Award was also given during the event to Jean M. Bernabe of the Office of Sangguniang Panlalawigan under BM Kris Caballero-Ranon, who exemplified her honesty after finding an 18-carat gold necklace and immediately returned the item to the owner through the PHRMDO.
