GOVERNOR’S WEEKLY REPORT || AUGUST 1-5, 2022
August 5, 2022
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Davao de Oro conducted an Executive Briefing for all provincial government officials on July 8, aiming to align the new administration’s strategies with the province’s key priorities.
In line with his top priorities, Governor Raul G. Mabanglo shared his KAP program—Kahimsug (Health), Assistance, and Proyekto (Projects)—which will serve as the foundation of his governance agenda. He urged members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and Department Heads to actively participate to ensure the province’s success.

The briefing highlighted the accomplishments of past administrations and laid out the development plans under Gov. Mabanglo’s leadership.
“𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑎𝑙𝑤𝑎𝑦𝑠 𝑖𝑚𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡, 𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑎ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑙𝑎𝑛 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦𝑑𝑎𝑦, 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑦𝑒𝑎𝑟, 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑎𝑑𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑑𝑎𝑝𝑎𝑡 𝑛𝑎𝑎 𝑗𝑢𝑑 𝑡𝑎𝑦 𝑖𝑚𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡. 𝑀𝑎𝑜𝑛𝑔 𝑛𝑎𝑔 𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑠ℎ𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑎 𝑜𝑔 𝑀𝑎𝑑𝑢𝑜𝑙𝑎𝑛 𝐶𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑔𝑖𝑐 𝑚𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑐𝑖𝑝𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑀𝑎𝑏𝑖𝑛𝑖, 𝑀𝑎𝑐𝑜, 𝑀𝑎𝑠𝑎𝑟𝑎 𝐿𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐿𝑎𝑎𝑘,”
(“There is always improvement needed—every day, every year, and in every administration. That’s why we’re establishing Maduolan Centers in every strategic municipality like Mabini, Maco, Masara Lines, and Laak,”) said Gov. Mabanglo.

He added that while no administration is perfect, all good projects should be continued, as they are what the people seek and aspire for.
”𝐴𝑦𝑎𝑤 𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑦𝑢 𝑖𝑠𝑖𝑝𝑎 𝑛𝑔𝑎 𝑔𝑖𝑏𝑎𝑔-𝑜 𝑘𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑖 𝑔𝑖𝑑𝑢𝑛𝑔𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑛 𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑔, 𝑔𝑖 𝑖𝑚𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑜 𝑘𝑢𝑛𝑔 𝑢𝑛𝑠𝑎𝑦 𝑡𝑎𝑛-𝑎𝑤 𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑜 𝑛𝑔𝑎 𝑘𝑎𝑘𝑢𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑎𝑛 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑎 𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑖 𝑠𝑎 𝑘𝑎𝑎𝑦𝑢ℎ𝑎𝑛 𝑢𝑔 𝑘𝑎𝑎𝑙𝑎𝑚𝑏𝑜𝑎𝑛 𝑠𝑎 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑏𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑦𝑎,”
(“Don’t think we’re changing things—rather, we’re simply enhancing and improving where we see gaps, all for the betterment and development of the province,”) he further emphasized.

DILG-Davao de Oro OIC Provincial Director Ma. Aurora C. Corpuz praised Gov. Mabanglo’s leadership. She noted that the province is fortunate to have an engineer as its top official, bringing with him a “strong technical background” and a “professional lens that values planning, precision, and long-term impact.”
Vice Governor Dorothy M. Gonzaga also expressed her full support for the current administration.
(“𝑀𝑎𝑎𝑦𝑜 𝑚𝑎𝑛 𝑎𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑢𝑔𝑜𝑑, 𝑚𝑎𝑎𝑦𝑜 𝑝𝑢𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑡𝑢𝑎𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑛𝑎𝑛 𝑎𝑛𝑖 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 𝑑𝑖𝑙𝑖 𝑝𝑢𝑑 𝑡𝑎 𝑚𝑢𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑜𝑛 𝑛𝑔𝑎 𝑠𝑚𝑜𝑜𝑡ℎ 𝑠𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑗𝑢𝑑 𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑛 … 𝑃𝑒𝑟𝑜 𝑖𝑘𝑎𝑝𝑎𝑠𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑔 𝑛𝑎𝑚𝑜 𝑠𝑎 𝑆𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑔𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑎𝑛𝑔 𝑃𝑎𝑛𝑙𝑎𝑙𝑎𝑤𝑖𝑔𝑎𝑛 𝑛𝑔𝑎 𝑏𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑎 𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑠𝑎 𝑔𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑜𝑟, 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑠𝑎 𝑔𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑜𝑟 … 𝑛𝑎𝑎 𝑔𝑦𝑢𝑑 𝑚𝑖 𝑎𝑛𝑎 𝑠𝑢𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑎.”)
“We’ve had a good start, and I believe we’re heading in the right direction. Though it may not be smooth sailing all the time, I assure you on behalf of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan that whenever the governor calls—whenever it’s a project of the governor—we will be there to support.”

The gathering was attended by members of the 10th Sangguniang Panlalawigan Council, department and assistant department heads, and several Capitol employees.
