GOVERNOR’S WEEKLY REPORT || AUGUST 1-5, 2022
August 5, 2022
The 125th Civil Service Month was launched on the first day of September in the province, a time dedicated to recognizing the contributions of government employees and giving them a well-deserved “break,” according to Governor Raul Mabanglo, as a way of acknowledging their hard work.

“Ang inyong commitment ug ang inyong pagpaningkamot mao ang tinuod na nagadala og kalamboan sa probinsya. Maong angay nato iselebrar ning Civil Service Month kay kini dedicated para sa inyoha… Gina-awhag nako ang tanan na apilan nato ang mga aktibidad na gi-andam sa HR.”
“Your commitment and efforts are what truly bring progress to the province. That’s why we should celebrate Civil Service Month — because it is dedicated to all of you… I encourage everyone to participate in the activities prepared by HR,” he added.

Regional Director Cyril-Nathan SM. Eamiguel also sent a message through Director II of the Civil Service Commission – Davao de Oro, Yvette E. Monarca, CPS, highlighting the importance of this year’s theme: “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan”.

“More than a slogan, this is a profound affirmation of our collective resolve to realize the vision of a Bagong Pilipinas — a renewed and progressive Philippines — where patriotism, excellence, and integrity are not only upheld but lived daily through the faithful performance of our duties. Today, we place the spotlight where it truly belongs: on you, on us — the public servants.”
Governor Mabanglo was personally involved in the planning of CSC Month and gave suggestions for new activities, such as traditional Filipino parlor games and others that honor our cultural heritage.

The celebration will run throughout the entire month of September.
