Salvosa Falls is found in the highlands of Davao de Oro, 1.1 kilometers from Davao Oriental’s Mati City-Maragusan national highway in Brgy. Araibo, Pantukan.

The area is part of the Philippine Eagle Sanctuary and the Mt Puting-Bato (peak, 2,613 m), Mt Kampalili (peak, 2,388 m), and Mt Mayo (peak, 1,747 m) section of the Eastern Mindanao Biodiversity Corridor (EMBC) within the provinces of Davao de Oro and Davao Oriental.
