Stronger Healthcare Services begins Gov. Mabanglo Launches “Task Force Kahimsog” to Improve Provincial Hospitals

To further address and improve the current conditions of the four Provincial Hospitals including Montevista, Pantukan, Maragusan, and Laak, Governor Raul Mabanglo officially announced on Monday, July 7 the issuance of Executive Order No. 0039, series of 2025, establishing the “Task Force Kahimsog.”

This Executive Order was created following the recent visits of Governor Mabanglo, Congresswoman Maricar Zamora-Mabanglo, and Congressman Jhong Ceniza to the hospitals, where they personally witnessed the urgent needs and challenges faced by the facilities.

Governor Mabanglo also made a heartfelt appeal to all hospital employees, saying:

“𝑃𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑒 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡, 𝑘𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑛𝑔 𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑘𝑎𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑛𝑔𝑎 𝑚𝑜 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑏𝑖𝑠𝑦𝑜… 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑏𝑖𝑠𝑦𝑜ℎ𝑎𝑛 𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑜 𝑎𝑛𝑔 𝑘𝑎𝑡𝑎𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑛 𝑠𝑎 𝐷𝑎𝑣𝑎𝑜 𝑑𝑒 𝑂𝑟𝑜, 𝑏𝑦 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑝𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑒, 𝑘𝑎𝑛𝑎 𝑟𝑎 𝑔𝑦𝑢𝑑 𝑎𝑘𝑢𝑎𝑛𝑔 ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑦o 𝑘𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑦𝑜𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑛”.

(“Please service with heart, that sincere and wholehearted service… Let us serve the people of Davao de Oro by heart, please — that’s my only request to all of you.”)

The Task Force Kahimsog will be composed of Governor Raul Mabanglo as Chairperson and Provincial Administrator Ivan Kleb Ulgasan as Vice-Chairperson, with the following members: PEEMO, Chiefs of Hospitals, PHO, PEO, PENRO, PSWDO, PHRMDO, PGSO, PACCO, PBO, and PTO.

With the creation of Task Force Kahimsog, the provincial government looks forward to building a stronger, clearer direction for healthcare development in Davao de Oro, paving the way for a healthier and more resilient community.
