With equal employment opportunities and the efficient recruitment process for human resources in the provincial government, another set of thirteen (13) individuals embarked on a new journey as public servants, taking the oath of office as promoted, appointed, and newly hired employees.
Earlier this morning, on April 1, 2024, Governor Dorothy Montejo-Gonzaga administered the oath-taking ceremony at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in Nabunturan during the regular Monday Convocation Program.
Governor Gonzaga reiterated that any constituents applying for work in the capitol are given equal opportunities, stating, “Ato pud ipahibalo ha nga niagi gyud mo sa tinuod nga screening … as we recruit employees for the betterment of our manpower here in the kapitolyo, we do not exclude the possibility of hiring outsiders that is why we also have few outsiders because kani sila tanan number one gyud ni sa atong scoring”.
Moreover, Mr. Lewis Jake Caiman, CPA, and Atty. Mary Justice Aurelio-Yap took their oaths as full-fledged Provincial Administrator and Provincial Legal Officer, respectively.
PHRMDO PG head Lara Zaphire Kristy N. Bermejo commended the people of Davao de Oro and the nearby provinces for patronizing and trusting the provincial government’s recruitment process, saying, “Truly, I think it [recruitment process] deserves a round of applause because we really have a very high trust rating in terms of our recruitment.”
Meanwhile, Rev. Fr. Tito Urbiztondo of St. Niño Quasai Parish presided over a mass at the Provincial Capitol Lobby right after the convocation program. (JF, Photos by Albert Dayao)
