1st Provincial LGBTQIA+ Congress 2023

More than 500 participants from the LGBTQIA+ community convened at the Provincial Capitol Lobby today, December 12, for the 1st Provincial LGBTQIA+ Congress 2023.
The Provincial Governor’s Office, led by Governor Dorothy P. Montejo-Gonzaga, conducted the event as the government recognized them as active contributors in shaping the society that we have today.
Moreover, the participants had the opportunity for an open conversation as Health Education and Promotion Officer Christian E. Cajes of the Provincial Health Office (PHO) shared inputs on Health and HIV Awareness. They also participated in the Tiktok Dance Competition.
The event gathered various audiences, including Governor Gonzaga, BM Ruwina Gonzaga, BM Teodoro Arancon, BM Vivencia Secuya, Former BM Nena Atamosa, government employees and officials, and among others, as they showed their full support and commitment to the community. (Photos by Jonie Cadiz )
