2887 Baganis efforts for the sustainment of insurgency-free prov, recognized

A total of 2887 Baganis from Laak town gathered at the Laak Gymnasium on Wednesday, December 27, as they each received their rightfully deserved honorarium.

Davao de Oro Governor Dorothy Montejo-Gonzaga emphasized the full commitment of the provincial government to support them, as they play a significant role in sustaining the gains of being an insurgency-free province.

Congressman Ruwel Peter Gonzaga, Laak Mayor Antonio Libuangan, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) including 60th IB Commander LTC. Merrill Sumalinog, 1001st Brigade Deputy Commander Col Gerry Besana, and others also showed their full support to the Baganis.

Further, the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), led by PG head Josephine Frasco, distributed food packs, while the Provincial Governor’s Office served ‘Palugaw’ to them. (Photos by Rizalino Naval Jr)
