DdO Govt’s remarkable efforts in education infrastructure to yield positive impact

Personnel from Melale National High School in Laak town experienced further development as the Provincial Government of Davao de Oro, led by Governor Dorothy Montejo-Gonzaga, handed over the provision of a stage and bleachers on August 14, 2023.

The ceremonial handover took place during the school’s launch of Brigada Eskwela 2023. This particular structure was built under a contract worth PHP 2.3 million. The construction commenced on February 27, 2023, and concluded on June 12 of the current year.

Moreover, a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a multipurpose gym with a stage happened at Mayaon National High School in Montevista town on August 11.

“Dugay na gyud ning gipangandoy ug gidamgo sa mga magtutudlo ingon man sa estudyante nga mabutangan og gymnasium…dako kaayu ang among pagpasalamat diin ang panginahanglan sa tulunghaan adunay katubagan” expressed Brgy. Captain Adelino Jimena of Brgy. Mayaon.

Meanwhile, Mayaon NHS Head CherryPink Palmaria thanked the provincial government for the realization of the project and for its untiring commitment to the community, saying “Ilang years na namin itong hinintay … grabe jud ang among kalipay nga matukuran namig mini gym”.

Former Board Member Nena Atamosa, representing Governor Gonzaga, along with the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) and Salarda Construction and Company, accompanied the event and expressed their complete support of the significant undertaking.
