The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in Davao de Oro will soon have its new building located at the Provincial Capitol Complex, Cabidianan, Nabunturan, Davao de Oro.
TESDA Provincial Director Jasmin J. Neri said that the building is funded through the PHP15-million pesos granted by the Office of the Representatives, Congressman Manuel E. Zamora of First District, now the Municipal Mayor of Monkayo and Congressman Ruwel Peter S. Gonzaga of Second District.
She also thanked the Provincial Local Government of Davao de Oro for all the support and for granting the new building as it can provide its clients greater access to technical vocational education and training and increase its operational units’ efficiency.
Governor Dorothy Montejo Gonzaga congratulated and showed her full support for the project and encouraged everyone to keep serving and equipping the constituents of Davao de Oro through skills training programs.
“Giila jud namo nga dako kaayug contribution ug kusgan nga partner ang TESDA in producing a competitive and skilful workers og graduates nga gikinahanglan sa atoang probinsya. Naa naman ang mga trainings, personnel plus building, siguro na jud nga mas malamboon pa ang Davao de Oro tungod sa panabang sa TESDA,” Gov Gonzaga added.
The groundbreaking ceremony and capsule laying were also witnessed by TESDA-XI Acting Regional Director Remegias G. Timonio, Congressman Maricar Zamora, Personnel from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Provincial Engineering’s Office.
