Davao de Oro Governor Dorothy Montejo-Gonzaga congratulated the retiring employees of the provincial government during the Civil Service Month Culmination Program “Araw ng Parangal at Pasasalamat,” at the provincial capitol today, September 30, 2022.
In the governor’s message, she expressed how proud and grateful the provincial government was to have the employees who served the people of Davao de Oro for decades. Gov Gonzaga also conveyed that retirees have been a significant part of the provincial government’s success, thus worthy of recognition and awards.
“You remain part sa probinsya, and you remain a part of the workforce. I assure you that you are very welcome diri sa kapitolyo. You have passed the test of how and what a true public servant is.” said Gov Gonzaga.
A total of fifteen employees from various offices were honored by the provincial government through the Provincial Human Resource Management and Development Office (PHRMDO), headed by PG Head Lara Zaphire Kristy Bermejo.
Further, Gov Gonzaga also recognized seven employees for having a “Best in Attendance Award.” The PHRMDO gives this award to employees with no absences and tardiness and follows other particulars set by the administering office.
